This 2012 Hindi comedy drama, directed by Priyadarshan and adapted from a Malayalam original, follows a timid young man named Johnny who is smitten with a girl from a rival family that opposes his own household. When a mysterious, quiet drifter appears and is mistaken for the family's long-lost son, Johnny persuades everyone to accept the stranger as his brother in hopes of improving his family's fortunes and his chances with the girl he loves, setting off a chain of comic and dramatic complications in their village.
