Kalyana Galatta

This 1998 Tamil comedy follows an orphaned young man who takes on the care of a local Christian family and relocates to Ooty in search of work at a cinema hall. To land a manager's job there, he falsely claims to be married and invents a wife using a random photograph, a lie that spirals into chaos when the woman in the photo actually turns up, pregnant and mentally unwell, forcing him and a friend to scramble to keep up the deception while fending off the theatre owner's daughter, who has her own designs on marrying him.
