In Kumbakonam, café owner Seenu struggles to keep his family's once-popular eatery running as a health inspector threatens to shut it down over sanitation issues, even as feelings grow between them. His brother Raghu, newly out of prison, moves in and gets entangled in schemes involving stolen diamonds, a scheming police-officer friend, and a developer eyeing the café's land, all while romance develops with the cook's granddaughter. The 2012 Tamil comedy, directed by Sundar C., follows their efforts to revive the business and untangle these complications.
