Kalaignan is a 1993 Tamil thriller about Indrajith, a popular Bangalore-based pop singer, who becomes a suspect after a dancer in his troupe is found murdered. When Sandhya's sister Divya arrives to investigate her death, she clashes with Indrajith while probing his manager and fellow musicians for clues, even as more killings tied to his performances raise suspicion against him. As the police close in, Divya's own inquiries lead her to question whether Indrajith is truly connected to the murders.
