An arranged marriage between an IT professional named Akhilan and his wife Anbarasi is complicated when her younger stepsister Kanmani moves in with them to study and develops romantic feelings for him. As Akhilan struggles to fend off her attentions without hurting his family, he seeks outside help to resolve the situation, setting off a chain of events with serious consequences. The 2006 Tamil thriller marked director Igore's debut and was noted for having a plot similar to a couple of other films from the same year.
