This 2017 Hindi-language drama explores climate change through the intersecting stories of two individuals facing environmental crises in different regions of India. An elderly blind man in drought-stricken Bundelkhand struggles to protect his indebted son from financial ruin, while a bank recovery agent from coastal Odisha, displaced by rising sea levels, arrives in the man's village to collect debts with ruthless efficiency. The film examines how climate-related disasters—severe drought in one region and coastal flooding in another—drive ordinary people into impossible situations.
