In Coimbatore, a wealthy, spoiled young man named Kannan becomes infatuated with Manimegalai, a self-reliant singer who wants nothing to do with him because of his reputation for troubling women. His persistent, often overbearing attempts to win her over backfire and lead to a personal crisis involving his family, prompting a shift in his character. Their paths cross again in Ooty, where circumstances force them into unexpected proximity and gradually reshape her feelings toward him.
