Kaajal is a 1965 Hindi family drama about a woman named Ranimaa who raises her late clerk's two children alongside her own son, Rajesh. As the household grows up, romance, marriage, and jealousy strain their bonds, particularly after Rajesh weds Bhanu, who resents his adopted sister Madhavi and drives her toward a crisis that reshapes her fate. The story, based on Gulshan Nanda's novel, follows Madhavi's turbulent path after she is married off to a man whose true intentions are not what they seem.
