Kaadhal Mannan

Kaadhal Mannan is a 1998 Tamil romantic drama about Rudran, a rigid father who has cut ties with his elder daughter for eloping and keeps tight control over his younger daughter Thilottama, even arranging her marriage. When a free-spirited mechanic named Shiva is dared into delivering a letter to Thilottama, the two develop feelings for each other, though she hesitates to admit it openly for fear of her father's reaction.
