This 1992 Hindi fantasy horror film follows Vikram, a man who falls victim to an ancient curse during a hunting trip, causing him to transform into a tiger every full moon and commit killings. As he recovers from a near-fatal injury and develops a growing infatuation with a doctor who loves another man, his human life becomes entangled with the murderous force taking him over. Drawing inspiration from a Western werewolf horror film, it used morphing effects to depict the man-to-tiger transformations and was noted for its box-office success.
