This Hindi legal drama follows Jagdish 'Jolly' Tyagi, a struggling Delhi lawyer who, after watching a wealthy young man escape punishment for a fatal drunk-driving accident that killed several sleeping labourers, decides to take up a public interest case against him. Motivated at first by ambition but pushed toward genuine justice by those around him, Jolly faces off against a powerful rival attorney and confronts corruption within the police and judicial system as he gathers evidence and witnesses to build his case.
