Jigra follows Satya, a protective older sister who has raised her younger brother Ankur under the shadow of family obligations after their father's death. When Ankur is wrongfully imprisoned abroad for a drug offense actually committed by a relative's son, and faces a severe death sentence under the foreign country's harsh laws, Satya travels there determined to free him. She teams up with a former gangster and a remorseful ex-cop to attempt a dangerous rescue from the heavily guarded prison.
