This Tamil-language crime comedy, set mostly in Madurai, follows an aspiring filmmaker who agrees to make a gangster movie and secretly begins investigating a feared local criminal known as Assault Sethu to gather material. As he and a friend infiltrate the gangster's circle under false pretenses, their deception is eventually discovered, drawing the filmmaker deeper into the gang's world and its criminal dealings while he continues working toward turning the gangster's story into a film.
