A biology professor and a group of students, accompanied by a nun, travel to Kerala for a field trip and end up sharing lodging with a separate all-male student group led by a retired colonel. Initial friction between the two parties gives way to uneasy cooperation, but their stay turns dangerous when a mysterious, seemingly unstoppable black-clad figure from a nearby cemetery begins attacking and killing members of the group. As the death toll rises, neither ordinary force nor firearms seem able to stop the menace, drawing in the police as well.
