This 1968 Hindi drama follows Shekhar, an Adivasi young man who, after his mother's death, learns she was abandoned by a wealthy landlord who fathered him. Seeking to confront the man's family, he travels to their town and discovers a half-brother who looks just like him, leading him to pose as his sibling and fall for a young woman while uncovering a similar situation repeating in the household. The film was directed by T. Prakash Rao and starred Dharmendra, Tanuja and Jayalalithaa, with music by Laxmikant-Pyarelal and lyrics by Sahir Ludhianvi.
