Ittymaani: Made in China

Set in Kunnamkulam, Kerala, this comedy drama follows Ittymaani, a man raised in China who returns to India as a child and grows up running a Chinese restaurant, catering business, and a trade in counterfeit goods, always taking a cut from any deal he handles. His schemes and church-committee involvement entangle him with a broken bell contract, a broker who turns a prospective bride's family against him, and his elderly neighbor Annamma, whose children neglect her despite her failing health.
