Iravin Nizhal

This Tamil thriller follows a film financier on the run from the police, who takes refuge at a corrupt spiritual leader's rundown retreat and looks back on the hardships and moral compromises that shaped his life, from a troubled childhood and early betrayals to failed relationships and a descent into shady dealings. Told through a continuous single-take, non-linear structure, the story weaves together his past and present as he confronts the choices that brought him to this point. It is notable as an early example of a non-linear film shot in one continuous take.
