This 2013 Tamil romantic fantasy, directed by Selvaraghavan, follows two parallel love stories set on Earth and on a distant, unnamed planet. On Earth, a medical student falls for a reserved mathematics academic, while tragedy and loss push him toward despair; simultaneously, in a primitive fantasy kingdom, a commander's son becomes entangled with an orphaned working-class woman amid royal politics and danger to an immortal figure called Amma. A mysterious link eventually forms between the two worlds, drawing the characters' fates together.
