A wealthy young man who chafes against his father's control falls for a scholarship student while abroad, but a chance quarrel between their fathers derails plans for their marriage. Back in India, he secretly takes a job as a servant in her family's household under a false identity, quietly fixing the various personal and professional troubles of her relatives. This 1997 Hindi comedy-drama stars Govinda and Karishma Kapoor and is based on an earlier film adapted from a Bengali original.
