This Hindi animated feature traces the mythological origins and early life of the monkey deity Hanuman, from his birth to divine parents under the wind god's blessing to his mischievous antics as a child, including a memorable attempt to eat the sun. It follows how the gods granted him extraordinary powers of strength, invulnerability, and shape-shifting, setting the stage for his eventual role aiding Rama and Lakshmana in their quest to find Sita. Narrated by Mukesh Khanna, the film was notable as an early landmark in India's theatrical animation industry.

We checked the streaming catalogues and it isn’t on any service we cover — in any country, not just yours. Films leave and return, so this can change.

We check JioHotstar, Eros Now, Sun NXT, Prime Video, ZEE5 and 13 others. If it is streaming somewhere we don’t read, it won’t show up here — tell us and we’ll add it.
