Two brothers are separated as children while fleeing their village and end up on very different paths in Mumbai: one becomes a small-time pickpocket trained by a local crook, while the other rises as a hotel-owning crime boss secretly involved in gold and diamond smuggling. Their paths cross with Kamini, an orphaned young woman fleeing an arranged marriage forced on her to settle her uncle's debts, drawing both brothers into a tangle of theft, deception and rival gangsters. This 1974 Hindi masala film was directed by Prakash Mehra from a script by Salim-Javed and features Vinod Khanna, Randhir Kapoor and Hema Malini in lead roles.
