Set in a peaceful village where Hindus and Muslims coexist, the story follows Raghuraman, a temple priest's son, whose world is shattered when staged provocations spark communal riots and he loses his family. Consumed by grief, he aligns himself with a militant faction bent on retaliating against Muslims sheltering in a spiritual teacher's retreat, but a meditative encounter there pulls him into a vivid inner journey through a society where people have long forgotten the very concept of sight. This parallel tale of a sightless community and its hidden path to vision becomes intertwined with his real-world crisis of faith and violence.
