Gurkha is a 2019 Tamil action comedy about Bahadur Babu, a man who fails to become a police officer and instead takes a job as a mall security guard through a private agency. When a group of former military men led by Thyagu tricks shoppers with fake offers and seizes control of the mall, taking visitors—including his love interest Margaret—hostage, Bahadur Babu is left to try to rescue them.
