This Telugu supernatural heist drama, directed by Ram Gopal Varma, follows a taxi driver and a young orphan boy who chase a gang of thieves to Bangkok after they steal the sacred crown from the Venkateswara Temple in Tirumala. The scheme is orchestrated by an occultist seeking mystical power through a dark ritual involving the crown, while a Bangkok-based Indian woman becomes entangled in the pursuit after a chance friendship formed during her earlier visit to Tirumala. The story is framed by a mythological prologue involving Lord Vishnu and Mahalakshmi that sets up the sanctity of the temple relic at the heart of the plot.
