This Telugu comedy-drama follows Gopala Rao, a non-believer who runs a shop selling religious idols, as an earthquake wipes out his business and his insurance claim is rejected under an 'Act of God' clause. Determined to get justice, he takes the unusual step of filing a lawsuit against God, dragging various self-proclaimed religious leaders into court and stirring up public and media attention along the way. As the case unfolds, he receives unexpected guidance from a mysterious stranger who may be more than he seems, while facing growing hostility from religious hardliners.
