This 2017 Telugu historical drama follows Gautamiputra Satakarni, a 2nd-century Satavahana king determined to unify India's many kingdoms under one rule while honoring a vow made to his mother. His campaign brings him into conflict with the tyrannical ruler Nahapana and later draws the attention of an invading Greek force awaiting the outcome of his battles. Alongside the wars, the story also traces his relationships with his wife and son and the values that shape his reign.
