This Bengali-language art film, shot in black and white, follows a disaffected young man nicknamed with a crude slang term who spends his days smoking, stealing cash from his mother's wealthy lover, and rapping out his frustrations. His isolation eases when he forms an unlikely bond with a rickshaw driver, and together they drift through drug-fueled and increasingly surreal encounters that blur the line between his reality and the filmmaking process itself. Known for its explicit sexuality and blunt language, the movie sparked controversy and censorship debates before eventually reaching Indian audiences.
