Gandhi Godse – Ek Yudh

This 2023 Hindi historical drama, written and directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, imagines an alternate history where Mahatma Gandhi survives Nathuram Godse's assassination attempt and chooses to forgive him. As Gandhi steps away from the Congress to pursue a movement promoting village self-sufficiency, tensions with the government grow, leading to his imprisonment alongside Godse, where the two men engage in intense debates that gradually reshape their understanding of one another.
