Gair (1999) is a Hindi action drama about an abandoned baby raised by a wealthy family who grows into a successful businessman, Vijay, and falls in love with a former judge's daughter, Madhu. His rise stirs jealousy within an industrialist's household, as the man's wife, son and brother-in-law grow resentful, while rumors about Vijay's true parentage threaten to derail his relationship. The story follows the tension between loyalty, family rivalry and Vijay's struggle to hold onto his romance amid the schemes against him.
