In present-day Mumbai, two security guards and an associate become the prime suspects after a legendary emperor's crown is stolen from a high-profile exhibition, forcing them to go on the run to clear their names. A chase leads to a bizarre accident that flings the trio back to the 10th century, landing them in the very court of the emperor whose crown was taken, where they initially mistake the situation for a movie set before realizing they must find a way home. Romantic entanglements with the emperor's daughters complicate their efforts to recover the crown and return to their own era to prove their innocence.
