This 1999 Malayalam comedy-drama follows three close friends, Aravindan, Chandu and Joey, who prize their bond above family ties, leading Chandu to spurn a romance with Aravindan's sister. While working as painters at a mansion, Aravindan is misled into believing his feelings for a young woman named Padmini are mutual, and when she rejects him, Chandu's harsh reaction toward her sets off a chain of events that threatens their friendship.
