In Mumbai, a widowed Parsi transport office clerk named Rusy lives a modest, scrupulously honest life with his cricket-loving son Kayo and his cantankerous elderly father. When Kayo gets a chance to attend a prestigious cricket camp in London tied to his idol Sachin Tendulkar, Rusy struggles to afford the steep fee and eventually takes the desperate step of borrowing Tendulkar's Ferrari without permission for a short while. This sets off a chaotic overnight chase involving quirky figures like a wedding planner, a corrupt politician and his unruly son, bumbling helpers, and a car mechanic skilled in handling stolen vehicles, all while an old family feud tied to Rusy's father resurfaces.
