Set in a traditional Nair household, the story follows Janakikutty, a young schoolgirl who feels overlooked by her busy family and finds companionship in an elderly neighbor and a quiet crush on a local young man. After venturing into a forbidden wooded area said to be haunted, she forms an unlikely bond with a spirit tied to a tragic local legend, which begins to shape how she copes with her lonely home life. As her unusual behavior worries her relatives, tensions build around family secrets and an arranged marriage affecting those close to her.

Where to watch in USA

We checked the streaming catalogues and it isn’t on any service we cover — in any country, not just yours. Films leave and return, so this can change.

We check JioHotstar, Eros Now, Sun NXT, Prime Video, ZEE5 and 13 others. If it is streaming somewhere we don’t read, it won’t show up here — tell us and we’ll add it.
