A college student becomes fascinated by a fellow student's artistic work, only to discover he has already taken his own life. As his ghost appears to her, she learns the tragic circumstances surrounding his death, while those around her question her mental state. Caught between her attraction to his memory and pressure to marry a wealthy suitor, she faces an impossible choice.
