Set in 1960s Madras, this Tamil spy comedy follows Elisamy, a wily small-time con artist who once wanted to join the police force, as he pulls off a series of elaborate heists and disguises to swindle shopkeepers and even a former police official. When authorities need someone to infiltrate a gang running an illegal cigarette smuggling operation, Elisamy is brought in as an unlikely undercover operative. The film blends comedy with crime-caper elements as he navigates deception on both sides of the law.
