Ek Phool Do Mali

Set in a mountain region of India and Nepal, this 1969 Hindi drama follows Somna, a poor young woman who falls in love with a mountaineering student named Amar, only to be told he has died in a climbing accident. Left pregnant after an assault, she marries her employer, the kind widower Kailash, who raises her son as his own — until Amar unexpectedly reappears years later, complicating the family's bond.
