This 1972 Hindi drama follows Surjit Singh, a hard-drinking truck driver who accidentally kills a farmer while driving recklessly in fog. Over time he adapts to farm life, forms new bonds including a romance with a village girl, and works to protect the family's land and interests from a scheming local landlord.
