A man discovered injured beside railway tracks loses all memory of his past and is raised by an adoptive family under a new identity. Years later, a fresh accident begins to unlock fragments of his former life, leading him to a famous actress who was once his wife and to the friend-turned-manager who may have caused his original injury. He devises a scheme, posing as a film producer, to re-enter their world and uncover the truth behind what happened to him and his family.
