This 1996 Hindi romantic thriller follows Ravi, a wealthy businessman's son who falls for a college classmate named Komal but finds she is put off by his reputation. To win her over, he poses as a humble alter ego named Bharat, a ruse that soon spirals into confusion when he is mistaken for a look-alike wanted in connection with a killing, dragging his family, friends and Komal's father into a tangled web of suspicion and underworld intrigue. The story builds around questions of identity, loyalty and hidden criminal pasts as Ravi struggles to clear his name.
