This 1993 Hindi romance directed by K. C. Bokadia follows Meena, a young woman from a modest household whose father works as a peon for a wealthy businessman, Vikram Singh. Meena falls for her college classmate Raja, but their relationship is complicated when another suitor, Ajay, also pursues her before stepping aside. Matters grow more difficult when Vikram Singh proposes marriage to Meena, tempting her status-seeking father, leaving her future uncertain.
