This 2025 Malayalam action comedy centers on Eldhose, nicknamed Dheeran, a onetime village hero who now works as muscle for a gangster in Tamil Nadu. When word reaches his hometown that he has died in an accident, a mismatched group of relatives and acquaintances sets off in a borrowed ambulance to bring his body home before the New Year, with old grudges and past relationships resurfacing along the way. The journey mixes comic mishaps with revelations about Eldhose's past, including his childhood act of bravery and a failed romance that led him to leave the village.
