This 2012 Telugu fantasy-action film follows Mallikaarjuna, a man who turns bitter toward Lord Shiva after a childhood tragedy in which a black panther kills his parents and grandparents and leaves his sister paralyzed. As an adult, he falls for a doctor named Maheswari while a demon named Andhakaasura, granted a boon by Shiva, schemes to sacrifice a virgin during a rare double solar eclipse to gain control over the world. Malli's path crosses with Shiva himself, disguised as a friend, as he tries to protect Mahi and his sister from the demon's escalating plots.
