This 1973 Telugu action-drama follows Ramu, a man entangled with a gang of idol thieves, who has a change of heart after protecting passengers during an aircraft hijacking and falling for a wealthy man's sister, Sujatha. He later ends up sheltered by a zamindar who, unknown to others, is actually his estranged father, and Ramu becomes drawn into the family's troubles, including conflicts with a wayward stepbrother and schemes by relatives and criminals connected to stolen temple idols.
