Deedar is a 1992 Hindi romantic action drama directed by Pramod Chakravorty, starring Akshay Kumar and Karishma Kapoor as two young lovers, Anand and Sapna. Their relationship is complicated by an old betrayal, as Anand's father had wrongly implicated Sapna's father years earlier, leading to his imprisonment. Anand sets out to right this wrong by trying to get his own father to admit the truth and secure Sapna's father's release.
