Raised by her grandparents with no memory of her parents, a young woman is attacked in her home and rescued by a stranger who turns out to be the father she believed dead. She gradually gets to know him, an alcoholic, and tries to help him overcome his struggles. This 1989 Hindi-language Indian drama was directed by Mahesh Bhatt and marked the screen debut of Pooja Bhatt, alongside Anupam Kher and Manohar Singh.
