Curry & Cyanide: The Jolly Joseph Case

This documentary, directed by Christo Tomy, examines a string of six suspicious deaths within a single family in Koodathayi, a Kerala village, spanning from 2002 to 2016. Through firsthand accounts from people connected to the case, it explores the role of Jolly Joseph, a wife and mother accused of using cyanide-tainted meals to kill relatives, reportedly to gain control of family assets and pursue a relationship with her husband's cousin. The film premiered on Netflix in late December 2023.
