Set in a village where a respected local figure has vowed to arrange his three daughters' marriages himself and punish any man who elopes with one of them, the story follows a carefree young man who is infatuated with a college English teacher. He recruits the teacher's student, the village elder's youngest daughter, to pass along his messages, but the two young people gradually fall for each other instead, setting up the central romantic conflict about whether they can be together. The 2014 Telugu romantic comedy action film is a remake of a 2013 Tamil movie and follows the couple's efforts to pursue their relationship despite the family's strict rules.
