Four filmmakers with a complicated shared past are brought together by a mysterious producer to collaborate on a project consisting of death-themed short films. As they gather at a secluded location, they share their individual story ideas while a parallel narrative set in the 1970s gradually reveals hidden connections to their present circumstances.
