Set in early-1980s Coimbatore, this 1985 Tamil drama directed by K. Bhagyaraj follows a bachelor who is pressured into marrying a woman he finds physically unappealing so that his sister's wedding can proceed. Unable to let go of his fantasy of an ideal wife, he mistreats his devoted spouse while secretly pursuing other women, including one who turns out to have deceptive motives of her own.
