Chinarayudu, a 1992 Telugu drama directed by B. Gopal, follows a respected village mediator who settles disputes among farmers and villagers while sparring playfully with a spirited goat-herder named Gowri, with whom he falls in love. Their bond is tested when Gowri's debt to his rival brother-in-law Pasupathi triggers a chain of village conflicts, betrayals, and moral dilemmas. The film is a Telugu remake of the Tamil movie Chinna Gounder, starring Venkatesh and Vijayashanti with music by Ilaiyaraaja.
